The medical director of Fundació ACE, Dr. Mercè Boada, will participate as keynote speaker at the 28th edition of the annual Alzheimer Europe Conference that will take place from October 29th to 31st in Barcelona. Dr. Boada will give a lecture on the strategies to improve the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease through the collaboration of the different stakeholders in European research projects.
In addition, Boada will participate in a special symposium about MOPEAD project, led by Fundació ACE, to tackle the participation and engagement of citizens in the early detection of Alzheimer’s. Besides, a total of 5 professionals from the Fundació ACE will take part in this European meeting that will be held this year under the motto "Making dementia a European priority".
This congress, organized annually by the association of Alzheimer Europe, is held this year in collaboration with Confederación Española de Alzheimer (CEAFA) and Fundación Alzheimer Espanya (FAE). The Alzheimer Europe conference is the key meeting of the Alzheimer's and dementia sector at European level. Each year it gathers a large number of people with dementia, carers and volunteers, as well as the main researchers, policy makers, health professionals and representatives of Alzheimer's associations.
