On September 20th, on the eve of World Alzheimer's Day, the event "Fem l'Alzheimer segui història" will be held. It will be an act open to anyone who wishes to attend. It will take place at 19:00 at the AXA Auditorium in Barcelona (Diagonal Avenue, 547). The program includes, among other interventions, a brief speech by Dr. Mercè Boada, Creu de Sant Jordi 2016, on the current state of Alzheimer's research. The doctor will also present results of some of the most internationally recognized studies of Fundació ACE. In the same way, the future challenges of this disease will be presented. The event will be hosted by the journalist Josep Puigbó will end with a tribute to the volunteers who have participated in the first phase of the FACEHBI project. This study is a follow-up of 2 years to 200 healthy people from the clinical point of view but who suffer memory losses.
