The art of not losing

The Plenary Hall of the District of Les Corts in Barcelona hosted the conference “The art of not losing” about Alzheimer’s disease, given by Dr. Mercè Boada, medical director at Fundació ACE. The session, organized within the framework of the From Bubble project, analyzed the biological and clinical complexity of Alzheimer’s, as well as the social dimension and the cost of this disease that currently affects more than 86,000 people just in Catalonia.

Boada also highlighted the work carried out by Fundació ACE throughout its 23 years of history working in the field of diagnosis, treatment, research and awareness of Alzheimer’s and dementias.

From Bubble, is an artistic and social initiative that takes place from October 15th to December 9th in Barcelona to raise awareness on Alzheimer’s disease. The project has the support of the Barcelona City Council as well as a number of entities and associations in the field of Alzheimer’s and dementias, which will propose activities to raise awareness among the public about the scope and effects of this disease.
