Alzheimer's Night 2018: third edition

The Castell de Peralada will host the III Alzheimer's Night organized by Fundació ACE. This year the meeting will take place on Friday July 20th in the White Room of the Castell de Peralada. The event seeks to combine solidarity with gastronomic and cultural experience, within the framework of the summer festival that this year celebrates its 32nd edition.

Given the success of Alzheimer's Night in 2016 and 2017, Fundació ACE intends to continue with this initiative designed to raise awareness about the importance of investing in research projects against this disease. Last year, in its second edition, the Alzheimer's Night raised 19,000 for the creation of the first Unit of Prevention and Early Diagnosis of the disease.

This year, due to the success of the previous ones, Fundació ACE wants to finance part of the Fundació ACE Healthy Brain Initiative (FACEHBI) project for early detection, framed in the Unit that was created in 2017. Fundación ACE takes up the initiative with the same premise as last year. It is a night of music and dance, which will feature the show "Una oda al tiempo" by María Pagés, to be part of the fight against Alzheimer's.
