Bonpreu and Esclat supermarkets have launched, during September, a rounding up campaign to collaborate with Fundació ACE. Through this collaboration, the supermarket chain will offer its customers the possibility of rounding up the final amount of the purchase and thus contributing to raise funds for a project aiming to suport caregivers of people with Alzheimer's leaded by the Foundation.
With this initiative, the Catalan chain wants to support the fight against Alzheimer's, coinciding with the celebration of the World Alzheimer's Day, on September 21st.
In order to facilitate the collaboration of customers, a payment system will be launched for card purchases. This way, the dataphone will give the chance of rounding up the final amount and, in case the customers want to collaborate, they just need to press the green button and continue with the usual purchase process.
All the funds raised through this method during September will be donated to Fundació ACE and will be used to fund the "Caregivers' Space" project, aimed to give training and support for family members of people with Alzheimer's.
