Fundació ACE and the Liceu Conservatory signed a collaboration agreement today to promote joint projects in favor of Alzheimer's research and improving the quality of life of people with this disease.
As a result of this agreement, both organisations will organize the charity concert 'Music for Alzheimer's' that will take place on Sunday, March 10th at 6:00 pm, at the Auditorium of the Conservatory and will be the first project fruit of the collaboration.
In addition to the concert, the agreement foresees to carry out other joint initiatives such as actions to bring the music of the students of the Liceu Conservatory to the users of the Day Care Unit of the Foundation, among others.
The concert 'Music for Alzheimer's', which will take place within the framework of this collaboration, will combine performances of the Contrapunto Vocale choir and two chamber groups of the Liceu Conservatory, a percussion duo and a wind quintet.
The tickets will cost € 20 and the profits will go entirely to Alzheimer's research, a dementia that affects more than 86,000 people in Catalonia and is expected to increase in the coming years.
The Conservatory also offers the possibility of collaborating for those people who cannot attend the concert, through this link.
