Dr. Boada enters the ranking of the TOP 100 Leading Women in Spain

Dr. Mercè Boada, medical director at Fundació ACE and one of the main international authorities in the field of dementia, has been selected to be part of the prestigious ranking TOP 100 Leading Women in Spain.
This classification, promoted by the news website Mujeres & Cía, annually recognizes a hundred women standing out in their professional fields. Dr. Boada has been chosen for her 30 years of career dedicated to Alzheimer's research and for her role as a leader and coordinator of a lot of leading projects of European and international scope.
Alzheimer's and gender perspective
In addition to her contribution in the field of research, Dr. Boada has also contributed to give a gender perspective in the analysis of this disease. Recently, the neurologist has collaborated in the promotion of the Women and Alzheimer Advisory Council, a European advisory council that aims to address the role of European governments and political agents in the fight against Alzheimer's, focusing on the situation of Women facing dementia.
