More than 120 people are expected to participate in the IV edition of the Alzheimer's Night that will take place on September 26th at the Mimosa Garden of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Barcelona. Among other personalities, it is planned the assistance of the Minister of Health, Alba Vergés, the mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau, and the actress Cristina Brondo.
The charity evening, which aims to become a meeting point between the scientific community and society and, at the same time, promote the collection of funds for research, this year will include several musical performances, humour and different raffles, among which highlights a sculpture by the artist Elisenda Arimany. In addition, at the gala the video of the Give Memory Campaign 2019 will be presented in society.
The event has the collaboration of Fibracat, Fujifilm, Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, Liceu Conservatori, Grant Thornton, Holaluz, HP, Majoral Jewellery, Natura Bissé, Peix a Casa, Rosa Gres, Scotprime Seafoods and Undatia Communication. The funds raised in this edition will be entirely devoted to the FACEHBI project, for the early detection of Alzheimer's disease.
