Fundació ACE’s career has been institutionally recognized by Les Corts district
On October 7, during the last Plenary Council of Les Corts, the district vice president, mr. Josep Maria Gebelli, presented an institutional statement on the occasion of World Alzheimer's Day in which the activity of the centres and entities that work in the investigation of dementias and in assisting people who must live with Alzheimer’s was valued, as well as their caregivers.
In particular, mention was made of the career of Fundación ACE. Our entity has been active in Les Corts neighbourhood for more than 25 years and being a world reference in the field of dementias.
“The Municipal Council of Les Corts agrees to give its support to the entities that work for Alzheimer's in different areas of the disease: information, prevention, training, direct care and support for caregivers, cultural and recreational activities or research. Highlight the work of the city entities that are referents (…) We make a specific mention of Fundación ACE, linked to Les Corts district for more than 25 years with the diagnostic, day care and research units”.
From Fundación ACE we want to thank the gesture and sensitivity of the government of Les Corts towards the professionals who work every day to make Alzheimer's history and towards the families who must live with the disease. We hope this is one more step to raise awareness of the importance of research and the importance of early detection.

Fundació ACE has set up a free telematic service for reviewing the report. The organization has already reviewed the report of more than 3,500 people in its facilities free of charge.
