Merce Boada will be awarded with the Cross of St. George

The Government has announced this morning the list of people awarded with this years’ Cross of St. George, among them there is Dr. Merce Boada, Medical Director and founder of Fundació ACE. “For her contribution to raising awareness and research in the field of dementia, particularly Alzheimer’s disease, which is a benchmark in Catalonia, with international projection. In his career, is the creation in 1995 of the Fundació ACE – Catalan Institute of Applied Neurosciences, which is medical director. Linked for years to the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital and its Research Institute, chaired the Catalan Society of Neurology.” So says the press release in which the Government granted recognition to Dr. Boada.
