The 4th Alzheimer's Night brings together 150 people in Barcelona to fight dementia

The fourth edition of the Alzheimer's Night, promoted by Fundació ACE, gathered 150 people yesterday to fight against dementia. The charity dinner, which took place for the first time in Barcelona, at the Mimosa Garden of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, has raised more than 32,000 euros that will be devoted entirely to fund the FACEHBI project (Fundació ACE Healthy Brain Initiative), focused on the early detection of Alzheimer's.
The event, that was created in 2016 with the collaboration of Fundació Castell de Peralada with the aim of becoming a meeting point between scientific community and society, has been attended by celebrities from different fields such as actress Cristina Brondo and singer Carlos Sadness, as well as institutional representatives, like the Minister of Health, Alba Vergés, the Mayor of the Barcelona, Ada Colau and the director of CatSalut, Adrià Comella.
Attendees have been able to enjoy different musical performances, humour, raffles and also the projection of the video of the 2019 Regala Memoria Campaign. This year the video pays tribute to the caregivers and the environment of people with Alzheimer's
The event has the collaboration of Fibracat, Fujifilm, Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, Liceu Conservatori, Grant Thornton, Holaluz, HP, Majoral Jewellery, Natura Bissé, Peix a Casa, Rosa Gres, Scotprime Seafoods and Undatia Communication.
