Lecture by Dr. Kenneth Kosik at Fundació ACE
Dr. Kenneth Kosik, a recognized eminence in stem cell research and its application to neurodegenerative diseases, will be next Tuesday, October 8 at Fundació ACE to give a conference.
With more than 300 scientific publications and more than 40,000 citations, Dr. Kosik is an authority in his field. He also currently works as a teacher at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Some of his recent scientific contributions include a significant discovery in the understanding of how human embryonic stem cells work. Likewise, it has also contributed to a new approach on how to reduce the risk of getting Alzheimer's disease and reduce the impact of this disease.
The conference will be held in the Grifols auditorium of Fundació ACE (Gran Vía de Carles III 85 BIS). Access is free until capacity is reached.
