Second annual meeting of the RAMCIP project


On 22 and 23 February 2017, the ACE Foundation participated in the second annual meeting of the RAMCIP project with the European Commission in Lublin (Poland). This meeting presented the progress of the project and demonstrated the first version of the RAMCIP robot during the following activities with two healthy volunteers: monitoring medication intake, detection of falls and communication With family members via teleconference. The pilot tests of the RAMCIP robot are scheduled this year and will be carried out in the homes of patients with mild cognitive impairment and mild dementia due to Alzheimer's disease in Barcelona. Fundació ACE, in charge of these tests, will select patients based on strict inclusion criteria that will have to do with both the patient and the stage of the disease in which they are, as well as their physical, family and social environment.
