Fundació ACE and Conservatori Liceu start the Estimul'Art Music 2020 program 

Estimul’Art Music 2020 project has started this week again, organized by Fundació ACE and Conservatori Liceu. The project consists of a series of concerts that will be held monthly in the Day Care Unit (UAD) of the Foundation. The first of these concerts took place yesterday and was in charge of Athrodeel Duo, formed by the performers Aseel Massoud, on vocals, and Ahmad Dyab, on flamenco guitar.

Estimul'Art Music project is one of the joint initiatives planned within the framework of the collaboration agreement signed between Fundació ACE and Conservatori Liceu, to bring music to the users of the Foundation's Day Care Unit. The main objective is to stimulate the ability to remember and enhance the emotional part of people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia, as well as scientifically assess their improvement.

The collaboration between Fundació ACE and Conservatori Liceu began last year with the organization of the solidarity concert ‘Music for Alzheimer's’, which was held in spring at the Conservatori's Auditorium. The benefits obtained from the sale of tickets for this concert were entirely devoted to research on Alzheimer's Disease, which currently affects more than 86,000 people in Catalonia and it's expected to increase in the coming years.
