“Give Memory 2020” campaign has been nominated in the Online Advertising - Social Action category at the XXVI Internet Awards. These awards, organized by the Association of Internet Users, are intended to recognize those initiatives, people or organizations that have most excelled in the proper use of the Internet and new technologies.
In this new campaign, the technology company HP joined Fundacio ACE to create an advertisement focused on sensitizing society about this pathology, using the COVID-19 pandemic as a context for a reflection on the scope of Alzheimer's and dementia.
The piece places in the center the 75 million people who will be affected by Alzheimer's in 2030, according to data from the Alzheimer's Disease International organization, and who will no longer remember the period of pandemic that we are experiencing.
The awards process is participatory and allows any user of the network to vote for the Give Memory campaign through this link
Coinciding with World Telecommunications and Information Society Day, the Internet Awards are organized on May 17. Having its origins in 1996, they have become one of the most prestigious awards on the Internet, publicizing great initiatives and campaigns.
The winners will be chosen by a jury made up of more than 50 professionals and will be announced at the Internet Awards Gala to be held on May 20.
